Approval of Minutes: November 19, 2007 - Budget Meeting

Motion: I move we waive the reading of the minutes of the November 19, 2007 Budget meeting and accept same as presented.

Old Business:

1.) Public Hearing – Continuation of Proposed 2008 Operating, Capital Reserve, Liquid Fuels, Water and Sewer Budgets (Review and Discussion).

Chairman Paulus opened the Public Hearing relative to the Proposed 2008 Budgets. Chairman Paulus noted that the item for discussion this evening was salary increases for full-time and part-time employees of the Township. Council determined that in accordance with the formula previously adopted by the Board, all full-time employees would receive a salary increase of 4.1% for the year 2008. With respect to all part-time Code Enforcement Officers, the Board determined that there would be a 15-cents per hour increase across the board.

There being no further business to be discussed, Chairman Paulus continued the Public Hearing on the Proposed 2008 Budgets at this time. The hearing for adoption of the 2008 Budgets has been scheduled for Monday, December 10, 2007 at 4:00 P.M.
