Mr. Thomas
Keim approached the Board and thanked them for their consideration
in appointing him to the Hanover Township Personnel Board.
He thanked the Township for supplying Block Watch signage for
the Allendale Apartments area and noted that they will need
the posts for such signs. The Township Manager indicated that
they should be in touch with the Township’s Public Works
Director regarding same. There was some discussion regarding
Catasauqua Lake and Mr. Keim noted that it is posted for no
boating. Council indicated that their recollection is that
the Fish and Game Commission requires same. Mr. Keim also noted
that there is a geese problem in the Canal area. Councilman
Atkinson commented that there is a certain time where you can
get them out which occurs right before gestation. Mr. Keim
further indicated that he was not aware of whether or not Council
knew that there are two beaver families located in the Canal
area down where 22 goes over the river.
