HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LEHIGH COUNTY
ZONING NOTICE

Weds. - April 26, 2006
7:00 P.M.

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of Hanover Township.


Lehigh County, will meet in the Township Building, 2202 Grove Road, Allentown, Pennsylvania 18109 on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at 7:00 P.M., for the purpose of Hearing the following Appeal:

1. Appeal No. 2006-5, Downs Racing, L.P., 1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 hereby requests a variance from the requirements of Chapter 27, Part 5, Section Z-512 (Buffer Yards) of the Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance.

The property in question is located on Airport Road and is situated in the Planned Commercial (PC) Zoning District. Applicant operates a clubhouse/restaurant at 1780 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPEAR AT THIS HEARING.

All persons interested or those desiring to protest may appear and be heard.

Copies of the above-noted plans, applications, and supporting documents are available for public inspection at the Township Municipal Building during normal business hours.


Lehigh County, will meet in the Township Building, 2202 Grove Road, Allentown, Pennsylvania 18109 on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at 7:00 P.M., for the purpose of Hearing the following Appeal:

2. Appeal No. 2006-6, New Pro II, Inc., 824 8th Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18018 hereby requests a Special Exception with respect to Section Z-1200(3) (A)of the Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance as same relates to expansionsof non-conforming uses. In the alternative, should a Special Exception not
be granted, Applicant requests a variance from the requirements of SectionZ-402.5(B) of the Zoning

Applicant proposes to construct residential townhouses on property situated at 1835 N. Dauphin Street in the Planned Industrial Office (PIO) Zoning District Ordinance

3. Appeal No. 2006-7, The HOMEschool, 3007 Kenney Drive, Northampton, PA. 18067 hereby requests an Interpretation of the Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance with respect to Section Z-402.5(D) (4) – Vocational and Trade Schools. In the alternative, Applicant requests a variance
with respect to the requirements of Section Z-402.5 of the Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance .

The property in question is located at 100 Cascade Drive, Allentown, PA. 18109 and is situated in the Planned Industrial Office (PIO) Zoning District. Applicant proposes to operate an alternative secondary school based upon Montessori Educational Principles at this location.
